After the extraction of the ZIP-archive, start 'Setup.EXE'. Enter a
directory and choose a program group for 'AutoStart Enhancer'. Setup will
install the programs on your system.

B. Registration

'AutoStart Enhancer' is shareware, feel free to test it and pass it on to
anybody you want. If you use the program beyond the 30 day evaluation
period, please register either on CompuServe - GO SWREG, ID #14583 - or
mail check or money order to the author (address below, see 'Reg_eng.DOC'
or 'Reg_eng.TXT'). Credit card payment should be available soon.
Registered users will receive a registration code via email or snail mail,
get support and be informed about updates. If you enter the registration
code, 'AutoStart Enhancer' enables its 'Timeplan' options. The registration
fee is currently US$ 10 (students US$ 5, please mail copy of student ID),
or equivalent in other currencies.
If you register for this program, you will also be registered for
'Minitools' pack, which you will find in CompuServe and AOL in the same
forum where you downloaded this program (search for 'minitool.zip').
The 'Minitools' pack contains a ToDo list program which helps you to
remember important things to do, appointments, etc., a post-it notes
program and a text editor to save text files in keyword encrypted format.

Thank you.

C. Deinstallation

If you want to uninstall the programs, delete the folder containing the
programs, delete the file 'Autoenh.INI' in your windows directory, delete
the program group in the 'Start' menu and delete the link to 'AutoStart
Enhancer run module' in your 'Startup' folder.

D. Program descriptions

D.1. 'Planner'

Use 'Planner' to create day- and time- plans for all the programs you want
to be started automatically at system start. You can get more information
on the various options by using the 'Help...' option.

D.2. 'AutoStart Enhancer run module'

This is the module that checks whether programs should be executed and
executes them when it is time. Needs to be in the 'Startup' folder.

E. Windows 95 and Windows 3.x compatibility

The programs were developed and tested under Windows 95 using a 16bit
compiler. Officially, they should run without any problems under
Windows 3.x as well. Since in the last time some problems with downward
compatibility of 16bit programs developed under Windows 95 occurred, it
may be possible that some dialogs or windows look a bit strange when you
run the programs under Windows 3.x. Please excuse this and report any
detected bugs to the author. Thank you.
